Trademarks
"Verdifax", the Verdifax wordmark, the Verdifax Final Artifact (.VFA) mark, and the stylized V / X logotype are trademarks of the Verdifax operator entity. All other trademarks referenced in our documentation are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Patent statement
Verdifax does not currently assert patents against open-source implementations of the §0 specification. Reciprocal cooperation with the verification ecosystem is a strategic objective of the project.
Regulatory notices
Verdifax is a software platform. It is not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, money-transmitter, healthcare provider, or law firm, and it does not provide regulated financial, medical, or legal advice. The cryptographic guarantees described in our documentation support — but do not substitute for — your own regulatory and governance program.
Export controls
The Verdifax software incorporates cryptographic functionality and is subject to U.S. Export Administration Regulations. By using the service, you represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national of any country subject to U.S. embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of restricted parties.
Government and law-enforcement requests
We respond to government and law-enforcement requests only through formal legal process and only after consulting external counsel. We narrow the scope of any production to the minimum required by law and, unless prohibited, notify affected account-holders.

To submit a notice of claimed copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, send the required information (identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact details, the prescribed statements under penalty of perjury, and your signature) to dmca@verdifax.com.
